What is SMD electrolytic capacitor?
A Surface Mount Device (SMD) electrolytic capacitor is a type of electrolytic capacitor that is designed to be mounted directly onto the surface of a printed circuit board (PCB). Unlike through-hole electrolytic capacitors, which have leads that are inserted into holes in the PCB and soldered on the opposite side, SMD electrolytic capacitors have terminals that are soldered directly onto the surface of the PCB.
